Hi! I'm Jemma, and (obviously) the face behind Jem's Beauty AU! I'm 19, Australian, and have a soft spot for make-up which has made me one poor girl.

I started this blog because I research products a LOT before they go on my wishlist, let alone before I buy them. I love reading about what works and doesn't work for people, however unfortunately I found myself always wanting a bit more information. I found that a lot of reviews online seem to be very short, without a lot of in-depth information. That's where I come in! I try to make my reviews as in-depth as possible in order to give people as much information as they may need in order to determine whether or not that product is something they need (let's be real, it always is) and the positives, as well as any downfalls of a product. I also write posts about beauty-related topics that I feel people would like to read about, not just on specific product. I, of course, also like telling silly stories about my life, random tid-bits or how I came to own a product I do -- I feel as though this makes me more relatable and hopefully makes my posts a bit more interesting!

This post is a prime example of my propensity to write long posts and talk a lot, but I hope you enjoy reading my blog and I always love hearing your thoughts, so leave me comments or interact with me on Instagram or Twitter.

I'm continually learning each and every day and feel as though I'm more more knowledgeable since starting this blog. That being said, I'm no expert, I'm 100% self-taught, so don't take anything I say as the sole truth. Make-up is expression and there's no right or wrong, so enjoy!
